Saddle-Up Saddeworld Congratulates Carol Hill and JT ll.

The Saddle-Up Saddleworld team were delighted to hear the news that Carol Hill was awarded the Level 2 Jackpot at the first leg of the Trakheners Australia Series, which was held at the Elmore Events Centre in Victoria on Saturday 12th September, 2015.

In late 2014 Carol won a competition, which was run by Saddle-Up Saddleworld and The Horse Magazine and her prize was a saddle of her choice from Saddle-Up and Carol chose a Prestige Helen Langehanenberg Dressage Saddle.

Catol Hill and Sue DeCrespignyCarol’s decision was influenced by the fact that she could take the prize and have it fitted when she found a new horse as she had retired her competition horse and had not been riding regularly for 3 years.

Carol purchased Jive Talkin ll 5 months ago and Saddle-Up’s Sue DeCrespigny (above right) fitted the saddle to suit “JT”.

Carol has worked closely with her Dressage coach Berni Saunders and was quick to thank her extended team and supportive friends for their contribution to her Jackpot success.

Carol said, “It really was a team effort and I particularly want to thank Tanya Hosford and Trakheners Australia for a really lovely, well run competition. JT felt amazing, I was pretty nervous, as this was my first competition on him and the first back after a long break.  I felt so secure in my new “Helen” saddle, it was a wonderful milestone in my riding career and hopefully the first of many more to come.”
