Birds Equisport Dressage with Altitude 2015 – Competition off to a great start!

A beautiful setting and friendly atmosphere saw Day 1 of competition at the Birds Equisport Dressage with Altitude start in fine style.

The competition kicked off at 7.30am, on Thursday 19th February with the Pryde’s Easifeed Intermediate II (CDN) – Mary Hanna took out first place with Umbro on a score of 71.228% and then followed up with a second place on Hamag W Stronga (by Jazz) with a score of 68.64%, third was Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi on a score of 68.59%.

MoscowThat event was followed up by the Hillgrove Warmbloods CDI-Y Team Test with Elizabeth Hulin and Moscow (pictured right) taking the win with 66.89%, second was Mary Warren on Mindarah Park Ramadan with 65.94%.

Third place went to Grace Kay riding her imposing chestnut, Karingal Jamirquai with a score of 65.52%.

Brett Parbury and 'PPH Zeppelin' were the winners of the Canberra Performance Horses Intermediate A (CDN) with a score of 67.870%.

The action continued with Eliot Paterson and Boronia HG taking out top spot in the  Brightons Saddlery Advanced 5.1 with a score of 70.36%, Georgia Connolly and Reventon were second with 68.39% and Alycia Targa and CP Dresden third on 66.78%.

Congratulations to Roger Fitzhardinge and Weltsohn on their win in the Equestrian NSW Grand Prix (CDN) on 64.10%, second to Rebecca Walshe and XL Overtime with 63.08% and third spot Victoria Welch and Glogau on 62.38.
