Saddleworld Supports Victorian Young Riders

SW Grand Final

Saddleworld is again proud to be the main name sponsor of the Victorian Equestrian Interschool Series Grand Final which will take place on Saturday 1st August (Showjumping) and Sunday the 2nd August (Dressage) 2015, at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre.

VEIS MedalThe Saddleworld VEIS Grand Final will match the skills of more than 300 riders representing over 80 Victorian schools, with the winners and placegetters staking their claim to be included in a future Australian Olympic team.

The VEIS commenced 10 years ago to ensure that equestrian sport for primary and secondary school students was nurtured through the provision of safe and well-organised events presented in a structured and ongoing program.

The Grand Final is set to be the crowning glory of a fantastic 2015 competition series with entries from as far west as Warrnambool, as far east as Bairnsdale and as far north as Wodonga.

Throughout the past year the series has grown with 15% more riders competing at the qualifying series and stronger entries at the top levels, which highlights the importance of this program in the development of Australian equestrian sport.

Saddlworld, the Organising Committee, the Schools and Students welcome all enthusiasts to Werribee Park to join in the fun.  This would be a great way to introduce the VEIS to young riders who ride and love horses and would be like to participate in the coming 12 months and be part of the 2016 Grand Final.
