Four Aussies set to partake in the final World Equestrian Games test events at Normandy

The D'Ornano stadium is being transformed from a football sporting stadium to a World Class Equestrian venue to host the dressage and jumping for the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games.

Over 70 combinations are entered to participate over the four days of competition featuring a CSI2* jumping event, along with a CDI 3* dressage competition.

Of the Australians testing the facilities are Amy Graham and her shortlisted WEG mount Bella Baloubet and Soraya d'Utah along with Matt Williams riding Edesa's Friedrich 29 and Origan de Vains. Normandy based Graham won’t even have to leave her neighbourhood to take part in the event.

The dressage entries include the likes of Carl Hester as well as Australia’s WEG hopefuls Alex Berns on Kings Legend and Jess Greelish riding Lancaster.

Australian jumping advisor Gilbert Bockmann along and Dressage advisor Ton de Ridder will also be in attendance to survey the facilities.

The D'Ornano stadium has the capacity to hold 21,000 spectators and will also host the official WEG opening and closing ceremonies. On the 25th Jun
